The JV team started the season with a record of 2 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie, including a 3 game losing skid midway through the '07 campaign.  After addressing the internal issues that were affecting the team, the girls really came together, learning about each other, the importance of team work, and how putting effort into camaraderie creates a winning environment.  In fact, the team didn't lose a single game after a team meeting was called to tackle said issues.  "We always had the talent.  The issue was playing together.  My hope is that the girls learned something from the hardships they faced this year.  We're a good team and I think we finally figured that out in the second half of the season" said Coach E.  Several players also contributed to the varsity squad, swinging up at different times in the season.  Those players included sophomores Erin Chartier, Brianne Elger, Jessica Elger, Kim Hoeben, Holly Loper, Chelsea Petersen, Ciara Slayton, and freshman Nicole Elliott.  Sophomore Ciara Slayton led the JV team in scoring with 11 goals, followed closely by sophomore Kim Hoeben who tallied 10 on the year.  The team's MVP for this season was sophomore sweeper Jess Elger, who put together an outstanding season on defense.
